Time Art Gallery — Newspaper
For the opening of the Time Art Gallery GF in Shanghai, Greubel Forsey wanted a publication presenting the collection, the art of watchmaking and its guest artists, readable by Chinese and international audiences alike.
The opening newspaper, in French, English and Chinese, alternates large photographs of movements, the collection and co-creations. Its large format plays on contrast: it highlights the meticulous micro-sculptures of Willard Wigan, set in the eye of a needle.
Ants in the margin, a nod to the micro-sculptures and to the childhood of the artist Willard Wigan.
A needle and its red thread lead to the artist’s contact details: he uses the eye of a needle as the base for his micro-sculptures.
